I'm the Ancient Runes professor at Hogwarts. You'd be surprised by how few people are even mildly interested by the field of study. I happen to have a good head for languages and know a decent amount of Old English, Old Norse, and German. When I'm not ~~yelling at students~~ teaching, I enjoy reading a good ~~romance~~ book with a nice cup of ~~fire whiskey~~ tea. My dad owns a Muggle novelty shop in Diagon Alley and, quite honestly, I've been intrigued by Muggles all of my life, though I find them rather mysterious and confusing.
